Contacting Congress

Calling Congress is easy! Here's how to do it.

  • Who are my representatives?

    • You can find out who your Senators and Representative are by going here.

  • How do I contact them?

    • Dial (202) 224-3121 to be connected with their offices directly according to your zip code.

  • What should I say?

    • Here's a sample script to help you get going:

      • "Hello, my name is (NAME) from (CITY, STATE) and I'm calling in support of the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program. I’m concerned by the steep decline in refugee arrivals, especially in light of the growing global refugee crisis, and want to see the U.S. resettle more refugees. I urge my representative to pressure the Administration to increase refugee admissions to the historic norm of 95,000.
