It’s time for the annual celebration: World Refugee Day! IRIS and the Refugee Forum of Los Angeles are hosting a day of festivities to honor the courage of refugees and resilience of community.
There is beauty to be found in sharing memorable moments together. Join IRIS and community partners for an event showcasing threading and eye makeup. This event is designed for refugee clients: RSVPs are required.

IRIS is back at the Ukrainian Culture Center this month, gathering this time with other community service providers! This day will be filled with tables of local organizations, art activities, resource presentations, and Ukrainian food… for free! Come to socialize and stay for the raffle*, where lucky winners will go home with a Virtual Reality Headset, a large TV, and more.
This event is designed for and open to all connected to the Ukrainian community. *To be eligible for the raffle, participants must fill out a survey and meet the requirements of the Ukrainian Newcomer Support Program (UNSP).

Parents and children (ages 5-18) are invited to Draw a Bright Future with IRIS. Kids can express their emotions and wishes through drawing, with awards given for the most meaningful art! Throughout the fun, find snacks, party favors, and hopefully luck in the raffle giveaway.
Information will be available on IRIS’s Refugee School Impact program, so eligible families can receive basic needs support and resources as their children adjust to the U.S. educational environment.
