Who We Are

IRIS is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization that offers refugee resettlement assistance and immigration legal aid.

We are a program of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles and the Southern California-based affiliate of Episcopal Migration Ministries. Consistent with our affiliations, we embrace people of all faiths (and people of none), races, ethnicities, gender identities and expressions, sexual orientations, and other markers of difference.

Our Mission

The mission of IRIS is to welcome and provide tangible tools and connections to help new arrivals achieve self-sufficiency in the United States.

We aim to enhance the quality of life of all of our clients, to develop partnerships with others to help our clients, and to advocate for refugee and immigrant rights at the local, state and national levels.
